One address covers everything: hello@igdl.app.
What to include
Most reports are about a specific link that failed, and almost all of them are impossible to investigate without the details below. Including them in the first message saves a round trip.
- The exact Instagram link you pasted, copied rather than retyped.
- Your device and browser, for example iPhone with Safari, or Windows with Chrome.
- What you saw: the wording of the error, or a description of what happened instead.
- Whether the post is public. Open it in a private or incognito window while signed out; if it does not load there, it cannot be downloaded here either.
Before you write
A few things are known limits rather than bugs, and there is no fix coming for them: stories and highlights, private accounts, deleted posts, region-blocked posts, and still photos. Video from public reels, feed posts and old IGTV links is what this version supports.
Response time
IGDL is a small independent project, not a company with a support desk. Mail is read and answered by a person, usually within a few days. There is no ticket system and no automated reply, so if you do not hear back it is worth checking your spam folder before writing again.
Copyright and takedowns
Copyright matters go through a separate process. No video is hosted or stored here, but if you are a rights holder and want to file a formal notice, the DMCA page lists what a valid notice must contain. Send it to the same address with DMCA in the subject line.
Privacy questions
If you want to know what is processed when you paste a link, the privacy policy covers it in full. Anything it does not answer, ask.
